Another section of the Veil Nebula in bi-colour using Ha & OIII mapped HOO = RGB.
Pickering's Triangle is much fainter than other areas and has no NGC number (though 6979 is occasionally used to refer to it). It was discovered photographically in 1904 by Williamina Fleming (after the New General Catalogue was published), but credit went to Edward Charles Pickering, the director of her observatory, as was the custom of the day.

Below is the final image with SII added : SHO = RGB + RGB stars.
My favorite remains the top image where the bi-colour gives a dramatic contrast for the two main emission lines (Ha & OIII).
