NGC 2174 (also known as Monkey Head Nebula) is an H II emission nebula located in the constellation Orion and is associated with the open star cluster NGC 2175. It is thought to be located about 6,400 light-years away from Earth.

Takahashi FSQ 106ED on a Takahashi EM200 Mount. This was taken with 0.73 focal reducer and Astronomik 12nm filters. I was shooting very close to the moon (on the 1st Feb) and had great difficulty with settling the guide input from my QHY 5 II - continuously tweaking to get best guide results.
